A complete scope
One team from design through finish
Our design-build process brings space planning, 3D renderings, permits, cabinetry, countertops, tile, electrical, plumbing, and finish work into one coordinated scope. Choose custom, semi-custom, or European panel-ready cabinetry, then coordinate quartz, marble, quartzite, or granite surfaces with your appliance package and lighting plan.
Plan with the existing home in mind
Scope matters more than square footage
A cosmetic refresh can preserve the existing sink, range, refrigerator, and cabinet layout, while a full gut may involve wall removal, structural engineering, plumbing relocation, gas work, or an electrical panel upgrade. Older Valley homes may also have slab foundations, galvanized supply lines, cast iron drains, or materials that should be tested before demolition. Reviewing these conditions early helps align the design, selections, permits, and budget.
Built around your home
Design details that work as beautifully as they look
RAA coordinates cabinetry, countertops, lighting, appliances, tile, flooring, plumbing, and electrical work as one kitchen project. Whether you are refreshing a familiar layout or opening the kitchen to an adjacent room, the plan accounts for the structure and systems behind the finishes. We also collaborate with outside designers and architects or provide in-house design support with 3D renderings.
Kitchen Remodeling FAQs
Common questions about kitchen remodeling
How long does a kitchen remodel take in Los Angeles?
Construction for many full kitchen remodels runs about 8 to 14 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. Permit timelines, cabinetry lead times, and structural changes can affect the overall schedule, which is addressed in the signed proposal.
Do I need permits for a kitchen remodel?
Electrical, plumbing, gas-line, or wall-relocation work generally requires permits in Los Angeles County. RAA handles permitting, inspections, and Title 24 energy compliance for the applicable scope.
Can you work with my designer or architect?
Yes. RAA regularly builds from plans prepared by outside designers and architects. The team can also provide in-house design support and 3D renderings if you prefer one coordinated design-build team.
