A more accountable way to build.
A design-build project should feel coordinated, not fragmented. RAA keeps the major decisions, trade coordination, and construction communication within one team, with a dedicated project manager and a written scope to guide the work.
One team, one point of accountability
Design, engineering, permits, and construction are coordinated under one contract, reducing handoffs between separate professionals.
Fixed-price proposals
Your proposal is itemized around a defined scope before construction begins. If you choose to change the scope, the change is discussed and documented.
Permits and inspections handled
RAA coordinates plan review, permits, inspections, and closeout so code requirements are part of the plan rather than an afterthought.
How we work
A process designed for fewer surprises.
First, we visit the property, listen to your goals, and define the scope with the right architectural or engineering input. Next come selections, renderings, permits, and a fixed-price proposal. During construction, a dedicated project manager coordinates vetted crews and provides weekly updates. At delivery, we complete a punch-list walkthrough, final inspections, and the handoff so you know what is complete and what comes next.
Plan with confidence
The right scope starts with the right questions.
The same room can call for very different approaches. Keeping a kitchen layout may preserve budget for cabinetry and stone, while moving plumbing or removing a wall can bring structural, electrical, and permit considerations. An ADU needs a feasibility review for setbacks, lot coverage, utilities, and occupancy. A bathroom remodel may be primarily cosmetic—or involve waterproofing, plumbing relocation, and inspections. We help you understand those choices before demolition begins.
Questions, answered
What homeowners ask before starting.
What areas does RAA serve?
Based in Woodland Hills, RAA works across the San Fernando Valley, Calabasas, Pasadena, the Westside, and much of Los Angeles County, including Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Agoura Hills, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, and nearby communities.
How long does a typical remodel take?
The schedule depends on scope, selections, permits, and site conditions. Bathrooms commonly run 4–12 weeks, kitchens 8–14 weeks, additions 6–14 months, and ground-up custom homes 14–22 months.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. RAA pulls permits, coordinates plan-check corrections and inspections, and closes out the permit process. The exact requirements depend on the work and the jurisdiction.
Serving Los Angeles
Built for the way Southern California homes live.
From Woodland Hills and the San Fernando Valley to Calabasas, Pasadena, and greater Los Angeles, RAA works on the spaces that shape daily life: kitchens that need better flow, bathrooms that need durable waterproofing, additions that make room for change, and outdoor areas designed around the climate. Whether your project is a single-room remodel or a larger design-build, the first step is understanding your home, your goals, and the scope that fits.
